Favorite foods of the Holy Prophet

Favorite foods of the Holy Prophet

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a special fondness for meat. Eating was a dead end. Favorite items included honey, vinegar, melon, cucumber, lentils, porridge, butter, etc.

The use of dates (the best complete food) with milk is also good and eating dates with butter was also included in the taste. Considering Hareera as a good food for the patients and also recommending it, dessert was also a desirable specialty, often using barley flour too.

Once the almond stew was offered, he refused, saying that it was the food of the emperors. He also drank mixed milk (called raw lassi) and honey syrup with gusto, always urging them to eat together.

Gold and silver utensils were strictly forbidden. They used glass, clay, copper and wooden utensils. After washing their hands on the table, they would take off their shoes and sit down. Do not put your hands in the middle of the pot, leaning and eating was also uncommon. Take it with three fingers and don't let them stumble.

Will definitely accept the invitation and if by chance another person (while talking or for some other reason)

He would have taken it if he had been with him, but he would have taken permission for it from the owner of the house. If he had finished first, he would have got up with them, and when he had finished, he would have washed his hands, prayed in which there would have been words of thanksgiving for God's blessings, and would have asked Allah for provision and blessings for the household.

If there was something to eat, they would share it with the friends present and keep the share of the absent friends, they would drink water without making any noise and usually they would take three cups from their mouths and breathe and each time they would start with "Bismillah" and Concluding with "Alhamdulillah", the usual way was to sit down and drink water. But due to the privilege of the right-handers, they would break the order only with their permission.

He disliked sniffing or sniffing food items, ordering food items to be covered, ordering his name before any new food came to light, after the incident of poisoning, it was customary that if If a stranger fed him, he would first feed him a half-bite himself.
