رات کے پچھلے پہر اٹھتا ہے

درد دل تہجد گزار ہو جیسے

میں لفظ لفظ ڈھوند کر تھک بھی گیا سجاد

وہ پھول دے کر بات کا اظہار بھی کر گیا

چھوڑ دیں گے ہم تمہیں بس اتنا بتا دو ہمیں

سجاد

کہاں جائیں گے ہم یہ ادھوری زنگی لیکر

ہم غریبوں کا دل دکھایا ہے 

جا محبت تجھے خدا پوچھے

میں نے دل دیا پیار کی حد تھی

ارے جان دی پیار کی حد تھی

مر گئے ہم کھلی رہی آنکھیں

یہ میرے انتظار کی حد تھی
